The former Hydro Ottawa building at 90 Maple Grove is being refurbished to house a new Daycare Center.
This proposal would see a portion of the parking lot converted into child play areas with a noise wall around the area. These play areas would contain artificial turf and would be separated by chain-link fencing. As this proposal is for a daycare facility, no new buildings are being proposed as the existing building would be used. There are 68 vehicle parking spaces, two barrier-free spaces and seven bicycle parking spaces on site. Approximately 19 vehicle parking spaces will be removed to accommodate a loading area and the play areas. This site would be accessible in two spots along Maple Grove Road. The second access spot is shared with the property at 100 Maple Grove Road.
