Kelly Funeral Homes 70th Anniversary
October 29th, 2024
October 29th, 2024
It was an honour to attend the 70th Anniversary of Kelly Funeral Homes yesterday on what would have been founder Lorne Kelly’s 99th birthday. Mr. Kelly built Kelly Funeral Homes on the basis of trust and respect and the many families who have passed through the doors of a Kelly Funeral Home can attest to that. Mr. Kelly used to deliver big announcements on his birthday, so it was fitting that the 70th Anniversary celebration be held on that day.
As Deputy Mayor, it was my pleasure to present a certificate on behalf of the Mayor and city, to John Laframboise Director of Community Relations and Luke McEachnie GM of Kelly Funeral Homes on celebrating their 70th Anniversary.
A big thank you to Sam Laprade for MC’ing the event.
