February is around the corner and I am so excited to see the canal has opened this year!  A family favourite activity!

In our last newsletter edition (December 2023/January 2024) we announced that our four city-operated seniors centres now have a harmonized service delivery model for seniors to access membership activities under one membership fee!  For $31.11/year, you can attend any one of these centres for their drop-in activities (does not include registered or fitness programs).

The four city-operated seniors centres are :
  • Churchill Seniors Centre, 345 Richmond Road
  • Heron Seniors Centre, 1480 Heron Road (Temporarily located at the Carleton Heights Community Centre, 1665 Apeldoorn Avenue, until further notice.)
  • Kanata Seniors Centre, 2500 Campeau Drive
  • Nepean Seniors Centre, 1701 Woodroffe Avenue
Here at Kanata Seniors Centre, we are now fully equipped to provide photo membership cards.  We started a soft launch, inviting members to get your picture taken and print out your new membership card. Please stop by our front desk and staff will help process this for you.  As membership cards are issued, members will be required to scan in during each membership activity visit.  The scanning stations will be located at each of our centres’ designated Customer Service Area. We understand that this new process represents a change to some routines.
